Hi, I'm Daniel, the founder of CuteMarkets.
I've been programming since I was 12 years old. My journey has taken me from building my first simple scripts to completing a M.Sc. in Computer Science at LMU Munich, where I published scientific papers in AI and Quantum Computing.
With over 7 years of trading experience, I've developed and run multiple successful options algo-trading strategies. I've spent years in professional Machine Learning roles, co-founding and scaling ventures like Aqarios and rhome. Today, I lead Auralis Group with over 70 employees.
Why I built CuteMarkets
There are many things I dislike about current options data APIs. They are either prohibitively expensive, built on legacy architectures, or simply lack the developer-centric features that modern algo-traders need.
I wanted an API that returns Greeks and IV out of the box, with nanosecond precision, and a clean REST structure that doesn't feel like a chore to integrate.
I decided to build the API surface I wanted to use: documented endpoints for U.S. options chains, contracts, quotes, trades, aggregates, Greeks, and expirations.
